About NRS Engineering Ltd.


Airport TerminalCurrently, there are three senior electrical engineers on staff at NRS Engineering Ltd. Each engineer, when acting as project leader is responsible for all aspects of the project, including predesign, cost estimating, detailed design, tendering, construction inspection services and final commissioning.

Our Staff

Steve A. Yeager, P. Eng.
Mr. Yeager has been with NRS Engineering Ltd since 1989 and is now the Owner and President of the company. Mr. Yeager’s experience includes fire alarm design, standby power generation, architectural lighting and power distribution, municipal control systems, and roadway lighting and traffic signal design. Mr. Yeager is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta, the National Fire Protection Association and the Illuminating Engineers Society of North America.

 

Ray S. Ziemer, P.Eng.
Mr. Ziemer has been with NRS Engineering Ltd since 2002 and is a graduate of The University of British Columbia, Electrical Engineering Program. Mr Ziemer’s experience includes commercial and institutional building design, healthcare facilities, fire alarm design and architectural lighting. Mr. Ziemer is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia.

 

Thorsten Schomburg, EIT
Mr. Schomburg has been with NRS Engineering Ltd since 2009, and is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, Electrical Engineering Program. Mr. Schomburg is available to assist the senior engineers on a wide variety of projects, including Architectural and Transportation.

 

Murielle Strymecki, Designer
Ms. Strymecki has been with NRS Engineering Ltd since 2005 and is a graduate of the University College of The Cariboo in the Engineering Design and Drafting Technician program. Ms. Strymecki is available to assist on a wide variety of projects, including building design and AutoCad drafting.

 

Arlene Belsham, Office Manager
Ms. Belsham has been with NRS Engineering Ltd since 2002 and is responsible for all office functions, including reception, secretarial, accounting, and payroll.
